I got tired of trying to walk my GPIB busses looking for my instruments. This script works with Prologix USB and Ethernet adapters and will walk them building a database of connected instruments. It stores it in a SQLlite db and can export to CSV.
I use it to keep track of the addresses I used. I recently added TestController as a panel to determine whether TC has a device configuration for my instruments in my inventory.
I promise, if Kofen gets me my Kofen GPIB squirter, I'll add support for it too! :)
