I am in the process of trying to upgrade / replace the display in my 5790a.
DS1 display is Fluke 806976 this part is made by Noritake there part cage code # CP2215 . I found this from the NSN parts search.
DS2 display is Fluke 832543 this part is made by Noritake there part cage code # OBW21 again I found this from NSN
I am trying to get Noritake app engineer to help cross these to lcd or oled type if possible.
Any and all help with is appreciated.
Thanks Bob
These are custom VFDs Noritake made for Fluke, I'd be surprised if you manage to get direct retrofit option.
If that of any help, displays for other VFD-type 57xx series units are same.

Hi Bob,
Sure, we could consider developing the replacement, but NRE and MOQ would apply.
Please tell me the estimated annual quantity, so I could forward it to our factory.
Most likely MOQ required is 1000pcs.

Thank you for contacting Noritake.
Regarding your request unfortunately we won’t be able to help.
The VFDs you are looking for are custom displays already discontinued 20 years ago.
We don’t have any stock and unfortunately, we also cannot provide any specifications eighter.
Please contact Fluke, as they may still have some old stock.
I just finished talking to the folks are FLUKE.
They informed me that NORITAKE who made the VFD displays for Fluke are the ones how stopped making the displays .
If you have deep pockets you can order a complete front panel with displays for $5102.00 us money Fluke part number 761031.
I can see that it's time to find another route to replacing these.
I will keep you up to date on the next step.

Hi
Before I tear apart my working 5790a.
Does anyone out there have an old not working set of displays.
also has anyone done the data line sniffing for the displays.
This will speed up the project if I don't have to do work that's already been done.
This will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Bob
